Architectural Items
As part of our complete steel building solution, architectural and accessory items can be included to enhance your building's design. Standard architectural Items are listed below with brief descriptions. Contact us for details or for a custom architectural feature.
Canopy Systems
Canopies can be ordered 'at eave' or 'below eave, with projections of 5' and 10' as standard.
Fascia
Our steel panel fascia can feature open or closed soffit. Standard heights are 4' or 7'.
Eave/Rake Extensions
These are extensions of the roof purlin system, following the profile of the main roof line. Extensions projections are 2' and 4' as standard.
Partitions / Draft Curtains
These can be either parallel to or perpendicular to building main frames. The standard is sheeted on one side only.
Framed Openings
can be ordered any size to match clear opening of a door or window. Jamb extensions provided for vertical lift doors.
Inset/Outset Condition
Inexpensive way to produce a shadow-line effect across the wall of the building. Standard projections are 7” and 9”.
Non-Structural Parapets
Typically used with lower roof slopes, these consist of wall panel extensions plus a structural support piece.

Pre-Assembled Walk-Through Doors
Our pre-assembled walk-through doors are foam insulated and self-framing, requiring no framed opening if standard girt spacing is used. Doors in sizes 3070 and 6070 have a 20 gauge skin; size 4070 has 18 gauge skin. All come with baked-on primer pre-finish, Grade 2 lever locks, ball-bearing hinges and aluminum threshold and vinyl sweep.Pre-Assembled Windows
Our windows, available as horizontal slider or fixed glass units, are extruded aluminum frame units designed specifically for metal building use. They come completely assembled for ease of installation, and are self-flashing so no framed opening is required. The head and sill trim are factory attached to the window frame. The universal jamb pieces are “snapped” in place without the need for fasteners. Contact us for a complete list of sizes and details.
Translucent Roof Panels
Translucent roof panels are an economical way to bring natural light into your building. CFR™ translucent roof panels are factory-assembled with the metal portion being a polyester polar white color and the “lighted” portion insulated or non-insulated. These panels are available for a UL rated roof system only with a 5’ purlin/joist spacing. Panels are available to fit on 5’ or 5’-6” purlin spacing, with a UL rating available with the 5’ spacing.Floating Roof Curbs
Our non-structural floating roof curb is for roof top units weighing less than 300 lbs. when installed on a CFR™ standing seam roof, and less than 1200 lbs. on Classic™ roof. The floating structural curb is for use on a standing seam roof with roof top units weighing less than 6,000 pounds and is attached to sub-framing below the roof sheeting. Curb opening sizes are based on the model/size of your roof top unit and are unpainted, allowing you to field paint to match the roof color or color of the roof top unit.Pre-Assembled Ridge Vents
Our ridge vents come completely assembled for ease of installation. They're a low profile design to provide gravity type ventilation and can be used both with Classic and CFR roof systems. Nominal ridge vent length is 10’ and are available with 9” and 12” throats. The vent's dampers are opened by pull chain and are spring-loaded to remain in the open position until the pull bar is operated and locked in the closed position. Bird screens are provided as standard.
