Metal buildings often don't look "metal". That's because their exterior walls may be masonry, concrete, precast panels or other custom finishes. Our framing and roof systems are compatible with all of these and can even incorporate storefront glass.
Still, traditional sheet steel wall panels are often the most practical choice for the building's exterior, and our available wall systems offer several options for function, appearance and energy efficiency. The panels shown below are really only a sample of the many designs that we can apply to your project. Please contact us for the full selection.
This exposed fastener wall system comes in 36" wide panels having 1-1/8" high ribs spaced 12" apart. It's offered in 26 and 24 gauge steel. Panels are attached using color-matched fasteners.
The Dura-Rib system is an economical wall panel solution that offers an attractive, traditional look. The panels are designed for structural strength, providing superior load carrying capacity.
This architecturally sculptured shadow panel is 36" wide and features 1" deep flutes spaced 12" apart. Panels are attached using color-matched fasteners, located in the 1" deep flutes so they are 'semi-concealed', resulting in a clean, uniform appearance. The A-36 wall panel is available in 26 and 24 gauge steel.
The panels have a unique side lap feature: panel ribs are designed to go in rather than out so one panel edge has a 360° hem that fits into the leading side lap rib. Panel side laps are very hard to find because of this feature.
The ShadowRib is a true concealed-fastener system with an appealing shadow effect. Each panel is 16" wide and 3" deep with a 1-1/2" deep flute. The panels are attached from the interior of the building, hiding the fasteners, to result in a clean profile. They come in 24 and 22 gauge steel.
The Robertson Thermal System (RTS) is a proven, cost-effective solution for energy efficiency. An RTS wall uses the A-36 or Dura-Rib exterior panel with a Dura-Rib or flat panel liner separated with thermal spacers. The roof uses the SSR standing seam roof or Dura-Rib roof panels separated from an interior liner panel with thermal spacers. Between the panels, from 4 inches to 1 foot of uncompressed insulation can be used to achieve R values up to R-40.
That kind of insulating capacity allows you to use smaller heating and cooling units to control building climate. And the interior liner is a vapor barrier that helps minimize condensation. The insulation also provides effective noise dampening.
