Every project completed represents countless hours of planning, craftsmanship, and collaboration. From delivering high-quality metal building systems to strengthening client relationships across North America, our builders consistently demonstrate the values that define the CMB community.
Each year we celebrate these achievements through the CMB Builder Awards, recognizing the builders and projects that stood out over the past year. The 2025 Builder Award winners represent excellence in metal building construction, collaboration, and industry leadership.
Builder of the Year
The 2025 Builder of the Year award was proudly presented to Steel Built Corp. As a long-time authorized builder within the CMB network, Steel Built Corp has consistently demonstrated their commitment to delivering high quality metal building projects. Their team excels at turning project orders into completed builds efficiently while maintaining exceptional workmanship. By aligning closely with CMB’s core values and delivering a high volume of successful projects, Steel Built Corp has set the standard for excellence within the network.
New Builders of the Year
Powerhouse Management earned recognition as a New Builder of the Year after making an immediate impact during their first year as a CMB Authorized Builder. From delivering a high volume of projects to successfully managing complex builds, their team demonstrated what can be accomplished with strong leadership and dedication. Powerhouse Management continues to push the limits while keeping their partnership with CMB at the forefront of their growth.
CTC Construction also received the New Builder of the Year recognition for their strong commitment to the CMB partnership. Over the past year, CTC Construction processed more projects with CMB than with other suppliers, demonstrating the value they place on the relationship. Their close collaboration with our team has led to stronger planning, smoother project execution, and better outcomes for their clients.
Buildings of the Year
The U-Haul facility in South Haven was recognized as a Building of the Year project, serving as a standout example of what modern metal building systems can achieve. The impressive three-story structure required complex engineering and manufacturing to support its multi-floor design. By leveraging CMB’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, the team was able to coordinate the structural system with the interior locker installations, allowing for precise planning, efficient construction, and a highly functional finished facility.
Kodiak Metal Buildings also earned Building of the Year recognition for the English Logistics warehouse, a project that showcases the scale and versatility possible with metal building systems. The facility includes multiple mezzanines, integrated crane systems, complex cladding, and striking black painted structural steel. Together, these elements highlight the level of engineering, planning, and craftsmanship required to deliver a project of this complexity.
Living the Values - metal structure concepts
Metal Structure Concepts was recognized for Living the Values at the core of Canadian Metal Buildings. Their team consistently pushes beyond traditional expectations by embracing innovation and exploring new approaches to project delivery. By actively listening to clients and installers while bringing their own ideas and processes to the table, Metal Structure Concepts helps drive improvements that benefit the entire CMB network and the metal building industry as a whole.
Sales Milestone Awards
Northern Flow reached an impressive milestone by joining the $1 Million Club. As a new builder in the network, Northern Flow has demonstrated what can be accomplished through strong drive, commitment, and a focus on delivering successful projects.
Kodiak Metal Buildings earned a place in the $3 Million Club after continuing to grow their volume of projects throughout the year. Their team consistently brings in builds that not only meet client needs but also contribute meaningful infrastructure to the communities they serve.
Steel Built Corp joined the $5 Million Club, further reinforcing their leadership within the CMB network. In addition to being named Builder of the Year, Steel Built Corp continues to push the limits by delivering a high volume of projects while maintaining one of the fastest project conversion rates from order to delivery.
As the new year begins, we are excited to see how the Canadian Metal Buildings builder network continues to grow. The achievements of our 2025 award winners highlight the dedication, expertise, and passion that define our partners.
