We Design
Building a metal structure can be complex — we simplify the process and serve as your single point of contact from start to finish. Our Hybrid Structures by CMB combine standard steel beams with Cold Form Steel framing for strength, speed, and shorter lead times on spans from 20’ to 120’. Whether you need a pre-configured design or a custom solution, we’ve got you covered. Our innovations make steel assembly faster, easier, and more precise. With a dedicated design and estimating team, we tailor each project to your needs and ensure on-time delivery. For larger buildings, we also offer engineered Tapered Frame Steel systems.

CMB controls the entire manufacturing process—from heavy steel to cold-formed girts, purlins, plates, trim, roofing, and sheathing. By eliminating middlemen, we offer faster lead times, greater flexibility, and consistent, high-quality products. With in-house production and integrated paint lines, we ensure everything meets our exact standards.

CONFIGURE AND PRICE
Based on your client's needs, we lay the design criteria out in our design and engineering software. A proposal will be provided along with “PRELIMINARY” structural drawings to review. We are 100% transparent in our pricing and have no hidden or surprise fees based on what project specifications are provided.

ORDER SUBMISSION
The order is placed with your territory sales manager and will be on boarded by the director of sales. At this time the project will be assigned a CMB Job Number and a specific project manager to kick things off.

FINAL ENGINEERING & DESIGN
Our project managers will work alongside you and your team on
in-depth design to produce final engineered drawings set for approval to translate your ideas into a final manufacturing plan. Once the approval drawings are signed off on we then enter the building order into a final detailing stage for shop drawing and issued for construction drawing creation. If there is a need for resubmitting of approval drawings this is done at this stage to ensure all design aspects are captured prior to fabrication. Once the approval drawings are signed off on, the PM will provide a tentative shipping timeframe based on current lead time and manufacturing schedule.

manufacture
Your building comes to life on our production line in Ontario, proudly crafted using Canadian materials. Throughout the process, the Project Manager will keep you updated on the production status and will notify you once your building is scheduled to be ready for shipment the week of “X.” At that point, our logistics team will step in to begin coordinating the delivery details to ensure everything is arranged smoothly.

DELIVER
We are ready to ship anywhere in Canada and the US. We pride ourselves in leaving your site cleaned, safe and ready for finish work.

SET THE PLAN
Your project is assigned to a Project Manager and a team of specialized designers and engineers to bring your project to life. At this stage, you will be given access to your project through our unique project management and VR/AR software to view not only internally but with your client for further collaboration.
SIGN OFF
You approve final drawings, we set final manufacturing and install schedules. Your dates are now set so you can finalize site prep.

CELEBRATE
We do a formal walk around and inspection of the building and ensure you are totally happy and satisfied. We are not done until you are happy. If you need add-ons or post warranty support – we are happy to support.
