WELLAND, Ontario, April 1, 2026 — Canadian Metal Buildings (“CMB”) announced plans for Canada's most advanced pre-engineered metal building manufacturing facility, located in Welland, Ontario, marking a major investment in Canadian manufacturing and the continued evolution of the pre-engineered metal building industry.
Set on a future 12-acre site in Welland, Ontario, the expansion represents a significant step forward for CMB, its builders, and the future of steel building manufacturing in Canada. The new facility is being designed to support greater speed, precision, reliability, and long-term production capacity as demand continues to grow across the market.

Our future 100,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, including office space and supporting infrastructure, is intended to help reshape how pre-engineered metal buildings are delivered in Canada.
