Created to support a growing craft brewery, this custom steel building blends efficient production with inviting hospitality spaces, giving Badlands Brewery room to expand while creating a destination for the local community.
For Badlands Brewery, growth meant more than increasing production. As the brewery's reputation continued to spread across Ontario, so did the number of people wanting to experience it firsthand. The next chapter wasn't simply about brewing more beer, it was about creating a destination where customers could gather, connect, and experience the brand in a space designed around the community that helped build it.
The vision was to create a facility that balanced production with hospitality. Guests would be welcomed into an open, modern environment while the brewery gained the operational space needed to continue expanding. Every square foot had to support both the craft behind the product and the experience that keeps customers coming back.
cmb solution
Detailed coordination was central to the success of the project. CMB used a carefully developed 3D model to review the structure, organize the building components, and help align the steel system with the brewery's planned equipment and interior layout.
The custom system balanced structural strength with flexibility, allowing the production floor, equipment areas, and future growth plans to be incorporated into one cohesive facility. Close collaboration with Cal Contracting also helped maintain communication and support an efficient path from design through installation.
results
Once completed, Badlands Brewery will offer visitors far more than great beer. The expanded facility will become a destination where customers can gather with friends, experience the brewing process, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the brewery's identity.
The additional space will allow Badlands Brewery to welcome more visitors, host larger gatherings, and strengthen its connection with the surrounding community. The project demonstrates how a thoughtfully designed steel building can support business growth while creating meaningful places where people come together.
