Cosella-Dörken needed a building that could support this continuous flow while accommodating specialized manufacturing equipment, inventory storage, and shipping operations within a single, organized facility. The challenge wasn't creating more space—it was creating smarter space, where every area contributes to a more efficient operation.
The layout was carefully planned to reduce unnecessary movement, improve accessibility between departments, and support the day-to-day rhythm of a busy manufacturing environment.

Understanding how the facility would operate became just as important as understanding how it would be built. Working alongside the project team, CMB coordinated the structural design around production equipment, material movement, and loading operations so the building would support the manufacturing process from day one. By aligning structural bays, access points, and shipping areas with the facility's workflow, the finished building minimizes unnecessary movement and creates a more organized environment for production, storage, and distribution.
