Designed to support U-Haul's continued growth, this custom steel building system delivers the flexibility, durability, and efficiency needed for a modern moving and storage facility built to serve the community for decades to come.

As demand for moving, storage, and equipment rentals continued to grow throughout the South Haven region, U-Haul set out to expand its presence with a facility designed to better serve local customers while supporting future business growth. The new location needed to be more than a storage facility. It had to function as a complete service centre capable of accommodating vehicle rentals, secure storage, and day-to-day operations within a durable, low-maintenance structure.

With thousands of customers relying on U-Haul locations every year, the building needed to provide dependable performance while reflecting the company's trusted brand. Every aspect of the project was planned to maximize functionality, improve customer accessibility, and create a facility capable of adapting as operational needs evolve.

From the earliest stages of the project, the focus was on delivering a building system that could support the pace and demands of a national brand while maintaining the quality and precision expected from Canadian Metal Buildings.

Our team worked with Uhaul to design a steel building tailored to the operational requirements of the facility, creating large open interior spaces that maximize usable floor area while allowing flexibility for storage, service, and customer operations. Every structural component was digitally detailed, precision fabricated, and manufactured in Canada using advanced production technology and rigorous quality control processes.

Throughout manufacturing, every component was clearly identified and organized to streamline installation on site. Working closely with the construction team, Canadian Metal Buildings coordinated production and delivery schedules to help keep the project moving efficiently from fabrication through erection.
